Do you know what grants you are  eligible for?

Have you never taken advantage of the business support available to you?

Many business owners are aware that business support is available but don’t know what it consists of, where to find it, or how to apply for it.

At Clear Target we have assisted a number of business owners to fund their business growth through a variety of Government, EU or LEP-funded programmes, and we are focused on making the application process as quick and painless as possible.

We have recently assisted clients with applications to the following grant programmes:

  • Innovate UK

  • Rural Development Programme (RDPE)

Local/Regional ( West Yorkshire & beyond)

  • Manufacturing Growth Programme (MGP)

  • Digital Vouchers

  • Business Growth Programme (BGP)

  • Product & Process Innovation (PAPI)

  • AdVenture

Before you start an application it is helpful to understand the big picture in relation to grant funding for business.

  1. The availability of business support varies according to the size of the business, where you are located, how big the business is, and what sector it operates in.

  2. Business support constantly ebbs and flows according to Government priorities and budgets, so keeping track of what is available can be tricky.

  3. With the recent focus on devolution the trend is away from national schemes in say England or Scotland etc., ( never the whole UK ) towards devolved funding to the Local Enterprise Partnerships ( LEPs ).

  4. Fund holders will generally want to see a positive outcome in terms of jobs created and / or increased turnover in return for grant aid so applicants need to be so prepared to set out a strong case why their business should receive grant funding

  5. Grant funding is usually match funded to some degree so applicants should not expect to receive a grant comprising 100% of the cost of a project.
